The Siskiyou Land Trust is pleased to announce our second annual Community Celebration! This year the party will be at the Mount Shasta City Park in partnership with the Mount Shasta Trail Association and the Mount Shasta Recreation and Parks District.
Mark Sept 10th your calendars with “Picnic in the Park, Celebrating Our Big Backyard”.
The event will highlight the early phase completion of the new City Park to Downtown Trail. The Trail Association will lead introductory trail hikes from 4-7 PM.
The Sundown Poachers will once again provide afternoon music, and from 2-4 PM the Park District will lead children’s activities.
Bring your picnic dinner and join us. There will be beverages to buy (beer, wine and soda) at the event, and a variety of local food vendors offering delicious foods for sale.
