Sisson Meadow Wetlands and Trails – Sisson Meadow is the most well know and used of SLT holdings, located in the center of our community with 1/2 mile of paved pathway and boardwalk. This beautiful meadow offers spectacular mountain views, benches and preserved wetland habitat. READ MORE…
The Garden Greenway – This protected green space is the setting for the Siskiyou Land Trust office at 522 Alma Street, just across from the public library and the Rotary Trail access to Sisson Meadow. The Garden Share – The Siskiyou Land Trust Garden Share Project is a cooperative garden located next to the land trust office on Alma Street in Mt. Shasta. While the garden is closed to walk-in visitors, it is used by the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Shasta and school groups as a teaching garden space. The food grown is shared with the community. Kingston Meadow –This protected parcel of land is a key section of the Downtown to City Park Trail, a project in progress to connect the center of Mt. Shasta with the City Park on the northern edge of town. Completed trails run through meadows, woods, and along waterways.READ MORE…
