SAVE THE DATE! November 16, 2022 6:30 p.m. at the Mt. Shasta Resort
We are excited to invite you to the Siskiyou Land Trust 2021/2022 Annual Meeting. This will be the first in-person gathering we’ve had for several years and we’re so looking forward to reconnecting with you all! Join us on November 16, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. (doors open at 6:00 p.m.) at the Mt. Shasta Resort.
You’ll hear about all of the exciting developments at Siskiyou Land Trust, meet our new staff members, and get a peek at the exciting slate of projects we’ve got lined up. Presenters will include SLT staff, our Board of Directors, and special talks from partners in some of our conservation projects.
- Folks connected to the US Fish & Wildlife Service and California Department of Fish and Wildlife will talk about the endangered Yreka Phlox and the efforts to preserve that rare plant, including lands that will be held in perpetuity by SLT.
- Tuli Potts with the Sierra Nevada Conservancy will speak about new opportunities for conservation in the upper Sacramento River region.
- And we’re excited to be launching our Annual Sustaining Supporter Awards through which we’ll recognize people and organizations who have been there for us through the decades.
We welcome all to this free gathering, where good friends will mingle, dessert, coffee and tea will be served, and a good deal of information exchanged. Hope to see you there.
