Calling all volunteers! Come have fun helping with clearing, cleaning and trimming at the Garden Greenway property in Mt. Shasta, adjacent to the Siskiyou Land Trust office on Alma Street and just across from the Mt. Shasta Library and Sisson School. We’ve done a fair amount of thinning and limbing trees and brush there, and would appreciate help dragging and stacking the branches and limbs so we can hopefully have them chipped up in the future. There’s lots of chores, and “many hands make light work.”
Let’s meet at the SLT office (522 Alma Street) at 10:30am Saturday May 23 and work for 2-3 hours. Come in your work clothes with boots and work gloves, and glasses or similar eye protection (sunglasses ok).
