OctoberJoin SLT as we take you to meet a landscape and landowner in a remote and rarely visited part of Siskiyou County. Sue Mauer will take us on a tour of this rare country on the western fringes of the Scott Valley and Scott River Canyon. Canyon Creek provides cold, clear water to the Scott River and serves a critical function for salmon. Sue has lived in Canyon Creek and the Scott River Canyon for 30 years now and will share her history and relationship with this incredible landscape. She’ll be joined by her partner, Tom Griggs, in sharing the stories of ecology, botany, geology and water.
