Kangaroos and Tasi2: Western Australia and Tasmania is Siskiyou Land Trust’s January Slideshow
Siskiyou Land Trust slideshow series presenter, Mike Hupp, will once again share his incredible photography in a slideshow on Thursday, January 9, at the Mount Shasta Sisson Museum. Doors open at 6:30pm, program begins at 7:00.
Join intrepid travelers Linda Roddy and Mike Hupp as they venture off the beaten path in Western Australia and Tasmania. From stunning snorkeling in Coral Bay to the winding gorges of the Karijini, from fields of spring wildflowers in the Kalbarri to the wild and rugged coast of the Bibbulmun Track in the Waigal Kaip, we’ll explore some of the most beautiful places in Western Australia. From there, we’ll follow Mike and Linda as they return to their beloved Tasmania. Discover towering ancient trees, hidden mountain lakes and wily wombats along the wild west coast and the Walls of Jerusalem in the central highlands of Tasi.
Come join us for an evening of fun travel stories, a little natural history and some great photographs from the far side of the world. Mike has been an avid photographer for nearly 50 years. He specializes in nature and travel photography and will do whatever it takes to get a good photo. To see more of Mike’s work go to www.dawnpatrolimages.com.
