Havana, Hemingway and other Highlights of Cuba
Our January 2016 slideshow features Vicki Houle presenting the photos and story of two weeks of travel in one of the most mysterious islands. We’ll look at Cuba’s history, including current history-in-the–making. We’ll talk about cars, cigars, cuisine & Castros! We’ll show you the wonderful diversity in the Cuban people. Art, music, and dance flow throughout the presentation. And Cuba’s biosphere is a lesson in partnering with Mother Earth.
Join us at the Sisson Museum in Mt. Shasta at 7:00pm on Thursday, January 14th. Suggested donation is $8, a fundraiser for the land preservation work of the Siskiyou Land Trust.
