The January Slideshow sponsored by the Siskiyou Land Trust at the Sisson Museum on Thursday, January 11 has a brand new topic! “Safaris are NOT for Sissies!” is the saga of a recent seven week, three safari adventure taken by eight Mt. Shasta locals through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Kenya and Tanzania. The photos and video footage of wildlife and African scenery highlight the joys and rigors of “bush” travel.
The scheduled presentation, “Tales of a Bio-crat” with biologist Phil Detrich, had to be postponed, leading SLT board member Steve Bollock to step forward with this incredible African adventure show. Please join us for this monthly fundraising event for the Siskiyou Land Trust!
