Join Mike Hupp and Linda Roddy as they share their recent travel adventures in New Zealand, Australia and Tasmania with a slideshow on Thursday, January 10, at Mount Shasta Sisson Museum. Doors open at 6:30pm, program begins at 7:00.

Mike and Linda’s epic journey was over a year in the planning.  In New Zealand, they tramped hundreds of kilometers over the mountain passes of the Southern Alps, got soaked in the mist of plunging waterfalls, kayaked rugged coastlines, camped on pristine beaches and skirted steaming volcanoes as they crisscrossed the countryside in Silver, their intrepid camper van. On the atolls of the southern Great Barrier Reef in Australia they happily traded hiking boots and walking poles for fins and snorkels to swim through wild coral gardens with tropical fish and sea turtles. In Tasmania, they viewed fall colors and strange creatures while hiking the world famous Overland Track along the spine of the island through a countryside that pulses with wildness. Don’t miss this special show!
