Please join us for a special slideshow by Johanna Rowland & Chantal Langenfeld on Thursday, Feb. 11 at 7:00 pm in the Sisson Museum in Mt. Shasta. This event is part of our annual slideshow series, and the suggested $8 donation is a fundraiser for the Siskiyou Land Trust.
Johanna and Chantal will share their photos and stories from the bike paths of Europe. European bike trails are spectacular, with many designated for bikes only. Trails wander through the Bavarian Alps, the Dolomites in Italy, the Julien Alps and Karawanks in Slovenia, and along rivers such as the Danube, Main, Rhein, Mosel, Neckar, Isar and Drau.
Johanna Rowland grew up in northern Bavaria. She has biked extensively throughout Europe and in recent years has shared her journeys with friends from Mt. Shasta. She’s lived in Mt. Shasta since 1985, skiing and backpacking with grandson Brandon and the mule Snowflake.
