The December slideshow from SLT will treat you to the wilderness photography of Mike Hupp. Never without a camera, Mike has traveled the backcountry of the American west photographing landscapes and wildlife for over 40 years. From solo winter travels in Eagle Cap Wilderness, to the summits of the North Cascades, to the canyonlands of Utah, the photos in this epic presentation are Mike’s favorite images.
“Last year was the 50th anniversary of the Wilderness Act, and it was my 40th anniversary traveling in the wild places of the west. That seemed like an important alignment of dates and it got me thinking that it was time to share some of those images and experiences before too much more time passes.” said Mike.
Join us at the Sisson Museum in Mt. Shasta at 7:00pm on Thursday, December 10th. Suggested donation is $8, a fundraiser for the land preservation work of the Siskiyou Land Trust.
