We’re looking forward to our 4th North State Giving Tuesday and we sure hope you’ll join us.
Giving Tuesday is a critical fundraising day for Siskiyou Land Trust and a terrific way for you to support our work in the coming year. Our goal this year is to raise $30,000 on Giving Tuesday. Your support, whether it’s $10 or $10,000, literally keeps us working and we are deeply grateful for your commitment to the work we do and impacts we make.
Donations will fuel our bold 20,000 acres by 2020 campaign, our work in the Garden Greenway and our Sisson Meadow stream restoration project. You can schedule your contribution on northstategives.org/SLT beginning November 13th.
Or you can join in the fun on November 27th to help us win some of the prizes up for grabs this year. If you need help making a donation online or would like to write an old fashioned check, come by the office on November 27th from 10m to 8pm and we’ll happily help you make your gift. Join us in an evening celebration of fun and friendship at the SLT office at 522 Alma Street in Mt. Shasta between 5-8pm on November 27th. We’ll have light refreshments and beverages and the company of good friends.
If you’re the competitive type, here are the prizes we’ll try to win this year from North State Gives:
Most Unique Donors Per Hour: Every one of the 14 hours, the participating nonprofit to have the most unique/individual donors that hour, will win $500!
Golden Tickets: Four times throughout the day of North State Giving Tuesday, a nonprofit will be randomly chosen to win $1,000!
Gold Star Club: From the pool of organizations submitting applications materials completely and correctly, an organization will be randomly drawn to be awarded $1,000! (We’re in! and hoping to get lucky!)
530 Prize: The 530th donor to provide a gift on the day of North State Giving Tuesday will be allocated an additional $530 to be awarded to the participating nonprofit of choice!
Sunrise Prize: In the first half hour of the day, a participating nonprofit will be randomly drawn to $1,000!
Sunset Prize: In the last half hour of the day, a participating nonprofit will be randomly drawn to receive $1,000!
Power Hours: Several times throughout the day, a special Power Hour Pool is set aside and up for grabs! The more a nonprofit raises in the designated Power Hour, the more they earn in free money from the Power Hour Pool! (Throughout the day we’ll announce when a Power Hour opens, so you’ll have to keep your eye on our Facebook page).
